Earlier this spring we found ourselves with time to kill in Utrecht, waiting for a night train to Italy. We found our way to the coffee shop Koffie & Ik, where we enjoyed a nice snack, and solid coffee. On the way out, Lisa spotted packages of zinnia seeds, from the Dutch Veer&Moon, and purchased a few packages to bring home.
Lisa planted the seeds in our garden, and they grew, over the summer, into beautiful pink flowers with lush green foliage. This foliage became the inspiration for her design and carving for the September box.
